Tip #27 - Making a menu entry to remove lockfiles

Make a menu item for deleting lockfiles it should look like this:
UNIX version
/fp/ddir - -l

It will ask you for a filename just pick it and press enter.
DOS Verison
/fp/dprodir - -l

Using Qualifiers just add -mq or -md sss to indicate the qualifier.

Never use the ? to reset lockfiles or have customer use ? to reset lockfiles. Other options on this menu include Delete KEY and DATA, Delete ENTIRE FILE, etc. Dangerous!

Or of course, the menu items could list each filename and do the entire project at once - Adjust for correct OS.

$PFPROG/fp/ddir file1 -l
$PFPROG/fp/ddir file2 -l
etc.

If the PFQUAL is set the above script for all would apply to qualified data sets. Easy to work all file sets without additional menus.
One stroke does all...
